KIDS
Our run-down of St Petersburg’s best and most popular malls
Family getaway
For a city so steeped in tradition, not to mention classical music and architectural history, it’s amazing how kid-friendly St Petersburg actually is. In the summer, families can spend plenty of time outside in the city’s parks, playgrounds and gardens, while in the winter it turns into a snowy wonderland.
Amusement park "Divo-island"
For convenience, the park is divided into three zones: children's, family and extreme. The children's zone is designed for ages 3 to 8 years old. It is a mini-town with trampolines, slides and rides that will not cause dizziness and nausea, even for kids. Extreme zone rides not everyone dares to try. One of them shoots to a height of 75 m, the second takes you inside the storm, the third rides to the heavens at 80 m. On the territory of the amusement park, decorated with fairy-tale figures, there are stages and several cafes.

Although the museum's exhibits are rather low-tech and old-fashioned, future funding projects hope to liven up the museum with more interactive displays and multimedia presentations.
