NIGHTLIFE
Dance the night away.
Party like a Russian!
"Sleepless" St. Petersburg confirms its informal title by getting into the top 5 cities in the world with the most intense nightlife. In the rating of the world's best party locations, it ranks fourth. There are several reasons for elevating Petersburg's alcoholic culture into a trademark of the city. One of them is several clusters of bars with signature cocktail lists on one street. We'll give you the top 5 most popular bar and party streets in St. Petersburg and tell you what the highlight of each place is.
Rubinshteina street
The most stylish street of bars is located in the very center of the city from Nevsky to Zagorodny Prospect - Rubinsteina street. Here you can find an establishment for any type of leisure: from a Kraft place to an expensive club, from a national Jewish café to a loud author's restaurant and from a karaoke bar to a temperamental Cuban place with live music. As you wander down this street in the evening, you'll find entertainment to suit all tastes and budgets.
Dumskaya street
Have you ever seen the movie "Coyote Ugly Bar"? If so, you'll know what we're talking about. Every nightclub on Dumskaya Street is a two-story Ugly Coyote. Street promoters drag you inside shouting, "Free rum cola!" (they can also fight over which one of them gets you into their club first). Girls are dancing on the bars, dance music is playing, and alcohol is pouring down the river. Dumskaya is a street you won't remember in the morning!
Zhukovsky street
Zhukovsky street is a cluster of author's bars, each of which wants to surprise you with its unique cocktail list. Take, for example, Dead poets bar, where every cocktail is a writer's name, and the ingredients remotely remind you of his work or biography. Or bar "Blue Pushkin", where you are told right from the doorstep how it was here that Alexander Sergeyevich choked himself! Or Imbibe offering "to taste borsch" - the author's liquor of the place. In general if you want to drink something exclusive in an unusual atmosphere you are here. This particular street is famous for its author's cocktail lists.
Nekrasova street
Nekrasova street is a paradise for lovers of craft beer. This is where you'll find no less than 20 bars, each of which will give you a different perspective on the culture of craft breweries. Each bartender is a guide who will both tell you and give you a taste. Redrum, Bay, Beer Diet, Kiosk, Flowers - feel free to walk into any of them and demand your own tour of the world of craft beer.
Liteiny prospect
During the daytime, Liteiny is a cute café and bookstore, but at night it transforms into one of the city's most happening places. You can find bars for wine lovers and big nightclubs here, you don't have to go far.
Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA club is a flagship of nightlife in St. Petersburg, where every weekend you can find the sophisticated audience, which praises the club for its rich program, atmosphere and multi-format rooms. Mash up floor - a roomy dance floor in an actual commercial sound format. Performances by popular artists and show ballet. House terrace - two-level terrace on the second floor of the club. Sets from famous club residents and guest DJs of world house scene. Karaoke - atmospheric space with stage acoustics and professional vocalists. VIP room - here you can always stay in a small company, pre-booking a room.

Dancing Grounds (Tantsploschadka)

No techno" club. A huge dance floor with great DJs and a bar that lasts a lifetime. Freshly juiced cocktails, plants, installations and six subwoofers. And the best courtyard in town with Venetian stucco, icicles and a basketball hoop. Open only on Fridays and Saturdays.
To get there you have to walk through the ruined St. Petersburg courtyards of Konyushennaya Square. Fear not, boldly go straight through the second courtyard and all the way to the end.
There are no reservations. The cost of admission is usually listed in the announcement of the event. There is no presale. FC / DC is.

Address: Konyushennaya Square, 2A (second courtyard, straight ahead and to the end)

Machty (Masts)
Music bar & club at the seaside. Ship's aesthetics (wooden chairs, counter and plywood wall paneling) work flawlessly in tandem with nautical romance. Especially when craft brewery "Af Brew" is responsible for the alcohol list. The place is conventionally divided into three locations: the bar area, the concert stage, and the backyard, where open-air events will be held in the summer. There are performances by both newcomers and popular artists, as well as after-parties to the big "Sevkabel" (art-cluster where this place is located) festivals. The music is diverse.
Address: Kozhevennaya Liniya, 40
BLANK
Located in historical building of the “Arsenal” factory. Providing culture and diversity of electronic underground scene. A space with high six-meter ceilings, columns, and vaulted brick arches. The main emphasis is on techno and electro, but there won't be any lengthy line-ups with lots of DJs: musicians will play long sets. And at the beginning of May in the courtyard a summer terrace usually starts working, on which parties will also be held (more house and disco is promised here).
Address: Arsenal'naya Naberezhnaya, 1
